I want to recognize Rey, the manager at the Morena Blvd store for his excellent customer service! My daughter's spare locker key was misplaced, and we thought it might have been stolen. Rey was able to put an over lock on our unit. He reassured us that no one would access the storage unit except for those authorized by my daughter. That is fantastic peace of mind for the security of the items we've stored! Especially since we were dealing with the situation from long distance. Rey was cheerful, helpful and reassuring. -Laura

Customer service is difficult to find in this day and age. Fortunately, I discovered it with A-1 Storage Vanowen, about a year ago. There has been no staff turnover to my knowledge, which speaks volumes. Valentin and Yabone know me by name and have consistently worked with me to meet my needs in the most economical and professional way. The location is easy to get in and out of, extremely clean and well-kept. I have no reservations related to safety. The site has staff on-site most hours of the day to answer any questions or assist in any way. I am an appreciative, and pleased, customer. Thanks guys! -Jo H.

Rarely do I ever write a review, good or bad, but the service at the A-1 Self Storage facility in Santa Ana is worthy of your attention. The storage facility itself is easy to find, very clean, and very well maintained. Access hours are very convenient and the camera and security devices should ease any concerns you have about the safety of your items. But the real reason to use the storage facility in Santa Ana is because their on-site employees are top of the line. They're always nice, helpful, and ready to suggest realistic solutions to whatever storage issues you may have. I only go to my storage unit twice a year, but I know the manager by name,(David) which is true testament to the wonderful service they provide. I have always been impressed with their service, and I doubt that any other storage facility can compare to the quality service provided at the facility in Santa Ana. - Charlene

The service was superior in every regard! Fast, helpful, super people at the counter made a difficult move easier and much better then another experience I had in 1993 with a different storage company. Advice was given on per diem rates with a friendly attitude on every interaction. Really have it together for a service company.

This review is for A1 Car Storage, at the same location. I've had some work done on the house, and had to make room in the garage, so I had to get my classic convertible out. What a great facility. Right on a quiet stretch of Pacific Highway, with really easy access to the freeway. Immaculately clean, and first class all the way. The car storage area is closed off from the rest of the facility, and is locked and monitored with cameras. This isn't a place you take your clunker, either. Full of high-end classics and contemporary vehicles. The staff was friendly and courteous, and very efficient in helping me get my car in and out. Amazingly, after about two months, there was hardly any dust on the car - stayed really clean. Cleaner than it does in my garage at home. While I much prefer to keep my car at home, if you have to use car storage, this facility and staff can't be beat.

I have rented space with A-1 @ 11800 Vanowen in N. Hollywood CA. for years, It is a clean, safe place to store my goods and has many extra services: electronic green recycling, UPS/Fed Ex deliveries, excellent hours of access, faxing and on the human comfort side--coffee and cold water when your moving boxes in 100 degree heat, or raining like crazy. Highly recommended for security, clean environment, ease of access, good location, excellent prices, and of course the great on-site staff who are friendly, informed, courteous and professional.

I meant to send this email almost two months ago, so I apologize for the delay. My father, rented a storage locker from A1 in El Cajon for about eight years. He passed away last November and left me with the unpleasant task of clearing out the locker. In January, when I finally got access to the locker, I was disheartened to find that it was almost entirely junk. I rented a U-Haul and took literally about 98% of the contents straight to the dump.
My point for writing is that your employees Shawn and Grace were extremely courteous, helpful, and understanding of my situation, and made a very unpleasant task just a little easier. I always appreciate good customer service, and Shawn and Grace were just terrific. If you share this with them, tell them I'm sorry it took me this long to write to you, but I did not forget. Thank you.
