Moving signals a new chapter in life. Whether you are moving for work, financial reasons, or to scratch your adventurous itch, you’ll likely need a place to store your belongings during the in-between period or a place to store the items you will no longer have room for. What size do I need?
Sizing questions are the most commonly asked questions we receive. In short, it depends on what you need to store! Begin by taking inventory of items that you will not need immediately when moving and items that you will not have space for. Our Unit Sizing Guide located on our website offers videos and graphics of various units to further assist you!
5 x 10 – The size of a walk-in closet and can store small amounts of furniture such as sofas, chairs, and a box spring and mattress.
10 x 10 – Equivalent to half of a one-car garage and will store a one-bedroom apartment including major appliances and furniture.
10 x 30 – This is the largest unit size we offer. It is equivalent to a standard two-car garage and can store a four- to five-bedroom house with room for boxes and other personal belongings.
Can I rent a unit if I am moving from out of state?
For your convenience, you can rent a unit online. Simply find a location and unit size and type that work best for you. You will need a valid ID and credit card. Once you arrive, you will need to visit our office to sign a contract and purchase your lock.
Do you offer moving services?
Although we don't offer a mover, we do offer FREE use of our moving truck at our Downtown San Jose, CA, National City, CA & South San Diego, CA locations to save you time and money. Please contact the location for full details.

How long is the rental contract?
We understand that storage is temporary and you may not have a set time frame. For your convenience, we offer month-to-month rentals. You can rent a storage unit for as long or short of a period as you need. Once you are ready to end your contract simply clean out your unit, remove your lock, and sign our vacate form. It’s that simple!
How can I make a payment?
Moving can be hectic at times and often takes a while to get settled into your new home. Paying your storage unit on time is the last thing you should be concerned about which is why we offer payment options that are convenient for you. You can set your account up for Auto Pay or opt to pay online on your time. You may also pay by phone or in-store.
