The Flying Pig Pub and Kitchen serves colorful and modern rustic American cuisine from southern classics like their Shrimp and grits to the Chef’s favorite of the day, but this modern southern restaurant is most favored for their drinks, known as “Pigtails” in which they whip up unique cocktails like “Gin and Jam” and “Fashionably Late”. You will have to drop by to try their creative takes on dinner and drinks for yourself between 4:30 and 9:00 PM. Most famous, and abundant, are the new breweries popping up over town. Bagby Beer Company, Belching Beaver Pub980, and Oceanside Brewing Company all made it to Yelp’s “Best 10 Breweries in Oceanside” and surely will not disappoint with locally brewed beers and flavors like peanut butter!
