A-1 Self Storage Commercial Client Spotlight: Billiards and Darts Direct

When a business sells large, high quality products, and they’ve run out of space at their retail location to store those products safe and efficiently, they know that A-1 Self Storage has the space they need. Brandon Gramse, owner of Billiards and Darts Direct, is one such commercial client that we’ve been facilitating to with our extra-large self storage units since 2003. 

Brandon’s company specializes in game room supplies. This includes pool tables and cues, dart boards, darts, bar stools, shuffle boards, and anything needed to make your game room the place to be. 

While Brandon doesn't need to worry about the smaller items in his inventory, the excess pool tables and furniture need a place to be stored; Ideally somewhere with convenient access, plenty of room, security, and attention to cleanliness.

“It also needed to be nearby since most of all of our customers are in San Diego County,” he said.

Brandon said that he was able to find all of this at A-1 Self Storage in La Mesa, California.The gates, the security cameras, and the individual alarms on the units really made him confident storing his luxury items there. Brandon rents two 10' x 35' self storage units and one 10' x 25' self storage unit, all of which are drive-up units. The extra-large self storage units give him the room he needs to safely organize each piece of merchandise without fear of it becoming damaged by other pieces being stored at the same time.

While Brandon may have been expecting to find these amenities at our facility, he was pleasantly surprised to find that Fran, the manager at A-1 Self Storage in La Mesa, is an important part of what the facility had to offer.

“Fran is very friendly and she gets straight to the point. If I’m calling looking for a unit, she’s very active in making sure I am up to date on the unit that I want,” he said. “I also feel like she goes out of her way to tell me about all the discounts or specials that applies. She gives me everything she’s allowed to give me, and that’s important. I never have to ask.”
