“We would need to make sure that the registration and insurance is valid and under the customer’s name, and that the vehicle is in running condition” Joanna said. “But they're more than welcome to store their car inside of those drive-up units.”

Keeping convenience in mind, the facility also offers package acceptance. However, customers must sign a waiver before the A-1 Self Storage team will accept the package. In case you have heavy packages delivered or personal belongings to move, pushcarts are available. Customers must present an ID, some personal information, and their unit number before a key is given to unlock the pushcarts.

Or, if you keep the door closed for a good 15 minutes, it will reset the alarm on the storage unit as well,” Joanna explained. “If we get alarms going off on any of the units, we go out to check and make sure that the unit is safe and secure. That's one good thing we have over here that separates us from other competitors - individually alarmed units.”
